BBT Telescopic Pole saw Chainsaw

Took a while to get around to using the pole saw, but when I did what a pleasant surprise. Very impressed with starting, reach and performance. Able to saw dead limbs that posed a threat or nuisance with reduced risk to personal safety. Recommend to other rural residents.

As said before, motor needs more torque but that may be due to being not run in yet. Disappointed that the unit was not ready on time when given 2 days notice to pick up. Only a small thing is that the multi tool in the tool kit does not have a hope in hell of adjusting the chain tension without damaging the head of the screw, which should be a high tensile screw not mild steel. A phillips head screwdriver needs to be supplied in the tool kit. Noticed on first use that the chain tension adjuster vibrated loose. Yet to investigate why. Plastic cover on cutting head that protects sprocket etc needs to be made of tougher material. A shame that the fuel tank guard does not protect the ends of the tank from impact. In fact the first unit I went to pick up leaked fuel from a split in the tank. I was informed that It appeared that the unit was dropped whilst still in the original packaging. Rubber cushion on the bottom of the tank on the replacement unit was split and fell off when investigated . Not sure if I got a replacement saw or just a replaced fuel tank. Not sure if the on/off switch is an issue. I would much rather saw stop if it is moving in a downwards motion after a branch has started to fall. Pole saw operates famously . Very happy with unit for the price. Fixing up a few minor things would take the review to a 5

After a bit of assembly fiddling, all good, put it to work straight away and did exactly what I wanted, good stuff !

Very happy with the performance of the telescopic shaft, cutting head is solid, motor could use more torque - it needs to be screaming to take a full cut, off switch required to be turned around as it is too easy to turn off by accident, pull start cord lasted 3 pulls. Minor things, overall a fantastic value piece of equipment, motor starts easily and is relatively quiet.

The saw head didn't align properly with the shaft but otherwise assembled reasonably well and easy. Started 2nd pull out of the box, 1st pull next time round. Only used the once to try out but cut well and had no problem cutting a 150mm branch - Good value

Delivery was exceptional, ordered on Sunday and delivered on Wednesday (to SA). I used the saw on the weekend and it performed very well. As another reviewer said the kill switch is the wrong way around and I will also be changing that but all in all very happy so far.

The pole saw turned up within a few days of ordering, The assembly was straight forward but for the drive shaft on the saw head this woulf not fit together until we took it out and turned it around. can not fault the saw so far. good value for the money

Although it took a little longer than expected to come, when it arrived I was extremely impressed with the quality of the shaft design as I expected it to be a little lighter than other major brands but it wasn't, also the ease of starting once it had been run in slightly, fantastic saw for what I want to do with it and definantly exceeded my expectations of what it cost

So far I can't fault this product, and at a quarter the price of the big brand names you can hardly go wrong. On top of that, the after sales service is excellent , having had a minor problem with mine a replacement part was sent out immediately .
