2 stroke multi tool is a work horse

This review is for anybody in doubt of the quality of BBT multi tools. I have no affiliation with BBT and not getting paid for my opinion. I have owned the original 2-stroke petrol tool for over 15 years. In that time it has proven to be worth its price many times over with the chainsaw & hedger being the work horse attachments for my yard. I’m still running off my original engine but have replaced both the chainsaw & hedger attachments due to wearing them out, not due to part failure. The chainsaw especially has cut through branches and logs well beyond the recommended thickness many times over the years that I have cleared my yard, saving me lots of money by not having to pay an arborist to do the work. The extension poles are so useful. With all extension poles attached it can be a challenge to handle but usually a 2 person operation makes the job easier. If you’re thinking of getting a multi- tool just do it, you won’t regret it. 5 stars.

    What was delivered.

I purchased BBT multi tool again having dropped & irretrievably broken a previous motor. Redesign of the connecting mechanism made all my attachments redundant :( I might have gone to another brand but was so impressed by the whipper snipper attachment I purchased it principally for that. However what was delivered was not the one in the photo but a slimmed down version. False advertising? Other than that I am very happy, & think the new handgrip a big improvement. Don't know what can be done - it might have ben 5 stars otherwise. Thanking you.

    Value for money

I bought this unit about 10 years ago. All parts still work. Very impressed considering I thought 5 years would be good considering the cost. I am writing this review because I was using the the chainsaw pole cutting unit over the weekend and realised one of the extension poles spring loaded locating knob was broken. Bit of a pain as this caused the chain saw to move around and not cut, even with a new chain. Not sure why this occurred as I have 4 extension arms and rotate their use. Not withstanding this issue, very impressed with the unit. Extension arm will be used for some other purpose.
