Finally they have been developed, the compact 12/20T Petrol Log Splitter with the capability to split both hardwoods and softwoods. including iron bark.

BBT has been an industry leader in both electric and petrol powered log splitters over the years, and the 12/20 log splitter has not disappointed this time either, equipped with a Genuine 6.5HP JD 4 stroke motor (fully compliant with new environmental laws) coupled with the  alloy gear pump, you will have all the power you need to split iron bark and any other hardwood you choose to throw at it.

The BBT 12/20T log splitter has been designed with a 20mm solid steel splitting wedge, this allows you to slice the timber then cracking it open, this is especially useful with knotty and cranky grains which in the past have been difficult to deal with.

    BBT12/20 ton hydraulic log splitter.

    Working well on 12" to 14" iron bark rounds, some can be difficult but take a split off the edge and all is fine, it's Working as I had expected on the timber I split. Some minor problems were the oil level sight gauge leaking, easily repaired with removal and threat taping the gauge and re tensioning, I did try re tensioning first but that was unsuccessful, Assembly was easy for me, I am pleased with the purchase.

    12/20 tonne log splitter

    Ordered on a Sunday and received it the following Thursday in Sarina. The splitter was easy to assemble by following the instructions. Took about an hour and a half. Had a minor issue so rang BBT. QUICK RESPONCE . And after I followed the jnstructikns the machine worked perfectly. My neighbour brought over some red gum to try to stop it. Just smashed it, no worries. He is ordering one for himself as I split a tonne or so logs in an easy afternoon. Recommended the splitter? He'll yes .... works great, good quality, actually started first pull after assembly. Life is easy now as I also watch the Mrs splitting wood.
