Fairly quick to assemble (Just remember you need 15L of ISO68 hydraulic oil - cheapest was Repco, and about 600ML of 15W-50 4T engine oil).
Started effortlessly, first time; and ran through the recommended 12 forward-reverse cycles to prime the hydraulics. Topped up the hydraulic level to mark on dipstick - and got into it!
Effortless fast splitting of seasoned black wattle and gum, logs that were about 20-30cm dia and about 60cm long. Split easily through knotty bits (just pick your path), and just LOVE the forward and back splitting action. Effortlessly splits on 1/2 throttle, and operated for about 1 hr straight - not using much fuel at all. Thoroughly recommended!

I love this little splitter, it has handled everything I have thrown at it (about 5 ute loads of wood so far) mostly stringy, peppermint and a bit of red gum and yellow box and so far it's handled it all very well (I wasn't sure how it would go on the hard stuff but it handled it just fine) I had a couple of bits that I had to turn around and cut from the other end (real knotty stuff) other than that it's done it all just fine. Mine had a flat tyre out of the crate and a missing dipstick so sent BBT a message on got a response straight away and a complete new tyre and dipstick were sent out in the mail and sorted out in a few days (thanks again Josh for the great service). This little machine is a great time saver and I can split each load as it comes in (normally it sits there for a week before I even want to go near it) now it gets split up and packed straight way. Only thing I don't really like about it is it's a little low but I'm thinking of putting mine up on some car ramps to suit my height which should make it perfect to use for me.
Well done BBT for supplying a great product at an affordable price, it's really well made and solid as, easy to put together and the B and S motor is a gem.

Highly rate this product - great quality, easy to use, two way cutter makes cutting through large rounds of gum a breeze. Very quick delivery from Sydney to Melbourne in three days. Highly trust BBT products. Great price and high quality - Have also purchased a generator and about to buy a hydraulic post hole digger

Highly recommend this product. It beat my expectations. Ripped through larger rounds of gum so much quicker than expected. The two way function saves so much time and double handling. Takes the chore out of splitting wood. Easy to start and use, and easy to move around with the tow bar option a real bonus. Delivery was also so quick from Sydney to Melbourne in a few days - Thanks BBT!!!

The office lady was very helpful. The product is well made and does the job with ease. I should have spent the money many years ago. Would buy again

We were so impressed by the performance of this "beast", as it split through solid red gums and other hard woods with no issues at all. The assembly process was very easy and instruction manual was very easy to follow. You'll need to allow about 2-3 hours to assemble this beast. Once, the oils topped up and fueled up, it starts at the first pull and the engine was quieter than my lawn mower. When we ran it half-throttle, it produced enough power to split all the wood stockpile we had at a very short time. Overall, we're very pleased with this purchase and hopefully it will last for many years to come.

I am a boiler maker / diesel fitter by trade, and I could not have built this machine for the value . It went together perfectly. The construction of the TIMBERWOLF is heavy duty, and runs like a dream.
It splits timber without hesitation on half throttle.
I would highly recommend the TIMBERWOLF to anyone looking to purchase a log splitter.

Finished 12 hours splitting yellow box and stringybark rounds up to 22"diameter. Splits wood with ease, plenty of power and torque. Machine runs perfectly. Dual action and cradle design very user friendly. Fantastic build quality. Many thanks to Matt and staff at BBTA, for excellent help and advice. This is a trustworthy company who go out of their way to make customers happy. George --- Glenroy/ Beaufort, Victoria.
