The Timberwolf Hydraulic Log Splitter can turn Yellow Box and Iron Bark into tooth picks with a pull of a lever. Tested in excess of a staggering 16 tons, it will not distort or even flex under extreme working conditions. Perfect for large crews working on-site, or for the handyman at home, this unit maintains working pressure under the most demanding load driven by a proven, high-performing Briggs engine.

This log splitter features a unique elevated working bed, so you don't have to strain your back when managing your new piece of equipment, and has been fitted with two way splitting capabilities, so you can also split logs on the return stroke, a real time saver.

    Does everything you said it would.

    Fast, powerful and easy to use.

    Fairly quick to assemble (Just remember you need 15L of ISO68 hydraulic oil - cheapest was Repco, and about 600ML of 15W-50 4T engine oil). Started effortlessly, first time; and ran through the recommended 12 forward-reverse cycles to prime the hydraulics. Topped up the hydraulic level to mark on dipstick - and got into it! Effortless fast splitting of seasoned black wattle and gum, logs that were about 20-30cm dia and about 60cm long. Split easily through knotty bits (just pick your path), and just LOVE the forward and back splitting action. Effortlessly splits on 1/2 throttle, and operated for about 1 hr straight - not using much fuel at all. Thoroughly recommended!

    Best Decision I Ever Made

    I love this little splitter, it has handled everything I have thrown at it (about 5 ute loads of wood so far) mostly stringy, peppermint and a bit of red gum and yellow box and so far it's handled it all very well (I wasn't sure how it would go on the hard stuff but it handled it just fine) I had a couple of bits that I had to turn around and cut from the other end (real knotty stuff) other than that it's done it all just fine. Mine had a flat tyre out of the crate and a missing dipstick so sent BBT a message on got a response straight away and a complete new tyre and dipstick were sent out in the mail and sorted out in a few days (thanks again Josh for the great service). This little machine is a great time saver and I can split each load as it comes in (normally it sits there for a week before I even want to go near it) now it gets split up and packed straight way. Only thing I don't really like about it is it's a little low but I'm thinking of putting mine up on some car ramps to suit my height which should make it perfect to use for me. Well done BBT for supplying a great product at an affordable price, it's really well made and solid as, easy to put together and the B and S motor is a gem.
