Does your garden resembles a small jungle? Not a problem! Whether on slopes or embankments, ditches and fences, the BBT Back Pack Brush Cutters displays genuine manoeuvrability. Thanks to the flexible joint between the engine and the shaft, you save effort and back ache - even when working uphill, you know it will get the job done, nestled comfortably on your back.
What makes this brush cutter so unique is the ability to place the heaviest part of the equipment (the engine) on your back. Fatigue is a thing of the past when using this brush cutter for a long period of time, while still maintaining maximum power through the heavy duty flexible shaft.
Hi guy's thanks for the opportunity to give you some feedback. .. Firstly with regards to the back pack brush cutter. ... there are some aspects of the product that should be noted. .. 1. The entire product needs all assembly bolts to be checked for tightness. 2. The straight & flexi drive needs more grease. 3. I would love to see the product improved by doing away with the hand throttle and setting up the bull handle bar with the throttle in your right hand ... only requires a longer cable to make this machine most excellent to use ... i really love using this product and look forward to seeing any updated models in the future

Surprised and thrilled with the customer service I received when rang up with a query. The girl who took call could not have been more helpful in resolving the issue. The product itself is very good also.

The idea of putting most of the weight of a brushcutter on your back instead of in your hands is certainly a worthwhile one but there are both positives and negatives.
As a piece of equipment it is a bit cumbersome and awkward to store unless you detach the engine and shaft, (a bit if a bother) whereas a simple, conventional, straight shaft brushcutter is compact and only needs a couple of hooks on the wall.
The back pack engine needs to be started before it can be hefted onto your back. This involves putting one's foot on the engine frame to hold it still and pulling the starter cord with one hand while holding the throttle trigger with the other. You don't want to do this too many times! Then, with the engine running you have to slide one shoulder at a time into the harness while holding the shaft.
The engine has plenty of power and the trimmer head and line are both robust enough for heavy work but peraps overkill for easy edge trimming.
When assembling the unit ensure there is enough space (about 20cm) between the handle and the throttle trigger for comfortable continuous operation.
The back pack does save stress when trimming beneath overhangs because when bending over there's only the weight of the shaft and trimmer head to deal with.
Perhaps the only other issue is that working in a confined space with the engine on your back can be difficult if you have to turn around.
After years of using a conventional brushcutter the back pack unit takes a bit of getting used to. I would actually give it 3.5 stars as a unit and 4 stars in terms of value for money.

I am on a 5 acre property and this is exactly what I needed. The head on it cuts better than anything that I have used before and makes the whole job a lot quicker. The weight is carried on your back and not in your arms.
Great machine & you can't beat the price. Bargain
