    Value For Money

    Great process for ordering over phone. Staff were great and very helpfull. Product is exactly what I wanted and expected. Works great. Only criticism is wrong size bolts supplied for mounting engine. 10mm instead of 8mm, luckily I had some 8mm bolts in the shed.

    good logsplitter once you've assembled it

    I had quite a puzzling time assembling the 27Ton log splitter, (I don't believe any mention was made that you would have to assemble it.) The instructions and the booklet were made for several models all of which are different. I did need to buy several extra bolts etc that were not supplied. Once assembled I found it works fine and is powerful enough to split anything I am likely to need splitting. I do find it works better vertically with a 4-5inch slab on the base to lift up the piece to be split. The motor works fine, starting first or second pull. All in all a good buy,

    It Works!

    Solid construction, quality materials and design. Better than "better known" brands that i looked at, and very much better priced. B&S motor started first pull on first use. Bit amazing. Haven't tried vertical use yet (and probably won't need to) tho I am wondering if the fulcrum point is well placed. That,s not a criticism, it just means i don't know. Great grunt. Has gone through some tough and gnarly box and all else is a breeze. VERY pleased with the machine and with all of the delivery arrangements. Assembly a bit of a challenge because of weight, but everything aligned well except the castle nut gaps. Frustrating but simple to fix Good gear

    Extra Grunt!

    Only used it a couple of times so far, but very impressive performance. My back is loving it. Table for the 'other half' of the log is handy. Assembly was straight forward (as long as you can lift the I-beam). I took the reflectors off the mudguards - unneccessary in the bush & they were loose anyway. Looks like you need to drain the oil to clean the suction strainer, though. Says to 'clean often'.

    I purchased a 27 ton with vanguard Engine all bolts have nylon nuts Quality steel this machine is way beyond my expectations The secret of these BBT splitters is good frames and pick a Quality Engine
