Some of the features we have included on this Mower are a Genuine 750 Series Ready Start Briggs and Stratton Engine, with over head valves.
The Briggs and Stratton Engine comes with a 2 Year Nation Wide Engine Warranty, plus a massive 24" cut, 3 height adjustments, side discharge, Belt Driven.
These mowers are built tough, just like the old days, there is no plastic on the deck at all, everything is steel and made to last, this is a true commercial machine, we have seen similar machines retailing for nearly $3000.

After neatly three years from my purchase and the slasher is still running very well. A small issue with the fly wheel underneath, where I had to get it welded back on, however since then it hasn't missed a beat and the engine always starts on the first or second full. The machine has managed steep slopes and very rugged and bumpy ground and it has handled it perfectly. I am still on the original blade too. It doesn't like grass too thick and long though because it clogs up the chute and eventually stalls the engine. Not very effective on wet grass though, due to the drive being friction on the back wheels. Highly recommended.

good mower. light and easy to use. struggled a bit on lush green grass but otherwise did the job well. hard to start when hot but my old one was the same. frustrating that it stops when you have to move twigs etc in front of the mower. all in all not a bad little unit

I've waited for a break in the weather and finally got to try out the slasher on the weekend. I was not disappointed. Bracken, cape weed, serrated tussock, rabbit holes, incline, decline - powers through or over. The 80mm setting perfect. Runs straight over hidden twigs that can normally get stuck in a mower. The side shoot a gem. This is a powerful engine. One design fault, the silver plastic ring on top of the engine has already popped off a couple of times when pulling the rip cord. I do give it a pretty good rip, but haven't experienced any problems when the engine is hot unlike the other product reviewers. Great fuel economy, just got to watch your oil levels on incline when the exhaust is high side up. Other than that, can't wait to buy some more big boyz toys !

Great little slasher works well for me, even my wife can manage it once it is started. Overcame hard start when hot by adding a home made adjust to the engine cradle.(takes the belt tension off to allow easy starting)

I just finished my first slashing run with this mower and it went really well. We have some over-grown paddocks - knee high, dry grass on moderately bumpy, moderately rocky, semi-sloping ground with small saplings and thick button grass dotted throughout. It has no trouble with the dry grass or saplings, but stalled a few times on thick button grass - just need to take it slow and best to tackle thick stuff going down hill so you don't need to use the transmission and divert power from the blades. I was surprised that despite all the hidden rocks I didn't hit any of them. I like that the machine has a simple design which looks easy to repair and a large motor and massive blade suitable for moderate slashing. The rubber flap at the back ripped off when the mower fell into a hidden dip in the ground, which is not the mowers fault, just something to be aware of. The self-propelling mechanism worked well. The only minor con's were that the side chute had to be bent into place, the instructions are a little thin (took a little trail and error to work out the throttle and starting) and the motor can be hard to start, even after it's been running, if you are not strong - the starter cord needs a really strong and quick pull and it can be more tiring getting it going than the actual slashing (unless you're fit). Overall, for the price, it's the only slasher I found that was affordable and saved us getting in someone else to do it. It does the job and so far is a really good buy. BBT also has really quick and friendly customer service if you need help.

After minor assembly and a few adjustments and bolt tightening it started and ran well. Performed well in reasonably heavy going, it's obviously going to do the job. It works where my ride on just wont go and that's a bonus.

Okay been using this mower slasher over a year, it has been worked really hard, next door borrows it for few spots where slope is to great for his ride on or he let the grass getover knee night. Country living, I keep 2.5 acre's mowed, half regular the other half only when it gets knee hight or higher. I've had another friend borrow it to slash over grown vacant lots in town. This is one hell of a mower, handle everything that's been thowen at it, after 12 months of being hammered it shows no signs of stopping. This is a really top, no thrills workhouse,
